How do I log time?

Tap Record and say what you did, e.g. “Ran at 6:30 for half an hour, then meditated for 15 minutes.” Review the records and tap Confirm. You can also type the same sentence in the Text tab.

How do I start or stop a timer?

Say “Start reading”. Later say “Pause”, “Resume”, or “I’m done”. You can also tap the buttons on the timer card, or ask Siri: “Start reading in Hourglean”.

Which languages can I speak?

Speech recognition follows the languages set on your iPhone (Settings › General › Language & Region) — for example English and Mandarin — so you can speak either. The app itself is in English and Simplified Chinese; to change its display language, open iPhone Settings › Hourglean › Language.

What does Hourglean Pro include?

Every feature is free for 7 days from download. After that, Hourglean Pro ($4.99/month or $29.99/year) is needed to keep logging. Your existing records, stats, and goals always stay viewable.

How do I cancel or restore a subscription?

Cancel anytime in iPhone Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. To restore on a new device, open Hourglean Pro in the app menu and tap Restore Purchases. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Where is my data?

Your time records stay on your iPhone. Apple's speech service turns audio into text and may use Apple's servers, depending on device and language support. No audio is sent to our servers. Recognized text and the context needed to interpret it are sent to a third-party AI service with a data-use explanation before first use. See the Privacy Policy and product facts and limits.

How do I delete my account?

Menu › My Account › Delete Account. Records on your device are kept until you delete the app.
